I so often like to write about how I designed a piece of jewelry. Today I would like to share with you how I designed the Ring of Pearl Necklace. This is a new piece that is available for purchase at my
Etsy Shop . The materials I used to design this amazing necklace are tiny 3 and 4mm size white cultivated freshwater pearls. These tiny pearls are A rated fine quality pearls. I also used a Silver plated non-tarnish 26 gauge jewelry wire for wire wrapping, a 25mm German Silver metal washer and a .925 Sterling Silver chain.
Firstly, I began by wrapping the silver wire around the ring to create a knot. Secondly, I individually wrapped each tiny pearl by wrapping the wire around my german washer once for each pearl, repeating this technique until all of my pearls were individually wrapped around the ring. Thirdly, I cut the sterling silver small link chain to measure 16.50 inches in length. And finally, I passed the chain through my wrapped ring and then I added my jump rings and spring ring clasp to close the chain.
This beautiful chain is completely handmade and ready to wear.
